生きるために食事をするとき、体が土へ帰るとき、物質は分解されることで次の命に関わります。

こうした大きな循環を可視化することで、昨今の分断された世界を繋ぎ合わせることができないかと考えました。

モチーフには、栄養を蓄え、生命力を感じる存在を選びました。

素材は植物で染色した布を土に埋めて、腐食させたものを使っています。

この工程は、命の解体と、新しい物質の誕生を示唆している重要なプロセスです。

As we eat to stay alive, when our bodies return to the soil, they break down into organic matters and become part of a new life.

I thought that it would be possible to connect a today’s divided world through visualizing this large circulation of life.

For my motif, I chose a form that stores nutrients and support the life force.

These materials are made by burying a botanical dyed cloth then decomposing it.

This is an important process which symbolizes the decomposition of lives and the birth of new organic matters.
